Temporary Traffic Control Plans

Torrent Engineering develops Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) Plans for contractors, developers, utilities, and public agencies working within or adjacent to roadways. Our TTC designers hold FDOT Advanced Temporary Traffic Control certification and understand the requirements that govern lane closures, detours, pedestrian routing, work zones, and construction access.

Plans are developed around the actual construction sequence and site constraints, with attention to safety, constructability, traffic flow, and the information contractors need in the field.

Traffic Impact Assessments

Torrent Engineering prepares Traffic Impact Assessments for developers, property owners, architects, and project teams planning new developments, expansions, and changes in land use. We evaluate how a proposed project will affect the surrounding transportation network and identify practical measures to support access, circulation, capacity, and agency approval.

Our goal is to give clients a clear path through the transportation review process, with analysis that is technically sound, responsive to agency requirements, and focused on keeping the project moving toward approval.

Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control

Torrent Engineering provides stormwater, erosion, and sedimentation control services for construction and land development projects throughout Florida. Our team includes Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) -Qualified Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Inspectors (FSESCI) who can review site conditions, inspect BMPs, identify deficiencies, and help address issues before they lead to delays, corrective action, or compliance problems.

We work with contractors, developers, and project teams to keep erosion and sediment controls effective from initial clearing through final stabilization.
